Well, the snow keeps on coming down here at Berthoud Pass and we have had a lot of people asking us to put on more Avy Awareness talks, especially up in Boulder.  So, we’ve added TWO more events to our class schedule:

  1.  Monday Feb. 24th – University of Colorado at Boulder – Humanities 150,  7pm start time
  2. Tuesday March 11thUpslope Brewing Tap Room – 1898 S. Flatiron Court in Boulder. (55th and Central area) 7pm start time
  3. Wednesday March 26th – Eddie Bauer Park Meadows mall.  7pm Start Time

*******************************************************************************

The Avalanche Awareness talks:

  • We provide backcountry travelers with an overview of avalanche awareness, avoidance, forecasting and rescue.
  • Topics such as route selection, hazard minimization, best practices, preparedness and terrain analysis are covered in a 2-hour presentation.
  • No registration is required. The classes begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted, and are open to the public and FREE of charge.
  • Donations are gratefully accepted and benefit our 501(c)3 non-profit grassroots avalanche education program.

See you there!

We’re talking about rescheduling. There’s a crapload of logistics and coordination that goes into each field day, and all the parts have to jive together in perfect harmony for us to pull it off. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know.
