2010 ON-SNOW REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

2010 On-Snow avalanche awareness classes will be held at Berthoud Pass February 6th and 7th. Trained facilitators will lead small groups into the backcountry to cover the basics of route finding, stability assessment, safe travel protocol and rescue scenarios.
In order to attend you must have:

1. Attended at least one classroom presentation
2. In your possession, a printed and signed liability waiver
3. Skis or snowboard
4. Avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe

Meet at the Berthoud Pass summit parking area at 8:00am ready to spend several hours in the snow. Bring substantial clothing, food, water etc.

    Hi Everyone -

    The spots are filling up fast, but we have some extra openings on Sunday due to duplicate registrations. Get on it!

    Interested to see if I could setup a carpool or ride with somebody for the Saturday class. I was thinking of leaving the Dino lots at 7am on Saturday.
